Free Halloween SVG Laser Files for Wood & Plywood (2026 Collection)
Halloween laser files, sorted so you can find the one you actually want to cut. Below are four themed guides that walk through designs one by one, then six sets that none of those guides cover: door rounds, shelf figures, jar panels and a fretwork owl.
Most of these designs sit on Creative Fabrica, where laser files come free with a subscription. Some links are affiliate links, so the marketplace may pay us a commission at no extra cost to you.

Each of these goes through its collection design by design, with a link on every one.

Six sets the guides above do not cover
Forty-eight door rounds in one set

The set sheet shows forty-eight round door signs at once: ghosts, black cats, pumpkins, witches on brooms, spiderwebs, haunted houses, and lettering — Boo, Welcome, Spooky, Trick or Treat, Happy Halloween. Some rounds are cut through so the backing shows behind the design, others stack a face over a plain ring.
One file covers the whole season. You can hang a different sign each week of October, or cut a batch for a market stall and let people pick their own greeting.
Formats listed on the set cover: PDF, SVG, DWF, DWG, EPS and AI.
Ten autumn geese, each with its own prop

Ten geese stand on flat bases, dressed for autumn. One carries a slice of pumpkin pie, another a whole pumpkin. There is a goose in a knitted hat holding a maple leaf, one in a sunhat, one with a takeaway coffee cup, one with a rake, one with a basket of leaves, one holding a lantern, one reading a book and one in flying goggles.
They read as a family rather than a set of ornaments, which is why a row of them along a windowsill works better than one on its own.
Nothing on them says October, so they stay out from the first cold week until the end of November.
Six ducklings in costume

Six ducklings, each in a costume: a mummy wrapped in bandages holding a jack-o’-lantern pail, a witch with a broom and a cape, one hugging a carved pumpkin, one with a candy bucket and a lollipop, one in a wide brimmed hat with a treat pail, and one beside a cauldron under a Happy Halloween sign.
This is the friendly end of Halloween. Nothing here frightens a small child, so the set suits a nursery shelf or a children’s party table.
Three witches for a shelf

Three witches stand on flat bases. One holds a lantern with a black cat under her arm, one leans on a broom with a pumpkin, and one stirs a cauldron with a star-topped wand.
They are flat layered figures, so a whole trio comes off a small piece of sheet and still reads from across the room.
Seven jar panels with faces

Seven panels shaped like mason jars, each a different character: a ghost, a stitched skeleton with a spider sitting on the lid, a jack-o’-lantern, a vampire in a top hat, a Frankenstein face, a black cat, and a haunted house under a crescent moon.
They are flat panels rather than real jars, so they lean along a shelf or hang on a wall, and the group looks like a collection even when you cut only three of them.
A fretwork owl that works against the light

An owl with spread wings, the whole body cut through with scrolls, stars and crescent moons. There is a hole at the top for a cord.
This one is made for backlight. Hung in a window or from a branch, the pattern reads as a silhouette, and the detail that disappears against a wall comes back the moment there is sky behind it.
It is also the only design on this page with nothing seasonal on it, so it stays up long after the pumpkins come down.
Putting a set together
Three of these work as one scene: a round on the door, figures along the shelf inside, jar panels on the wall behind them. The geese and the owl are the two that survive the season — the geese carry the shelf through November, and the owl has no pumpkins on it at all.
If you cut to sell, the forty-eight-round set is the one that pays for itself: one file, a table of different greetings, and no two customers leaving with the same sign.
The sixty-second file check
Free files vary. Before you commit a full sheet, open the file and look at four things:
- Broken or open paths — they show up the moment the file loads in your software.
- Doubled lines sitting on top of each other, which cut the same edge twice.
- Thin details that will not survive in your material — the fine parts of a fretwork design are the first to snap.
- The licence, if you plan to sell what you cut.
Then cut one corner in scrap before the real sheet. More on judging files, and fifteen places to find them, in our guide to free laser cut file sources.
Free Halloween Maker’s Planner
If you cut to sell, the free five-page planner has the seller’s calendar — cut in August, list in September — with the projects priced, a checklist and a shopping list. No email required.

FAQ
Are these Halloween SVG laser files free?
They are free to download with Creative Fabrica’s free trial: a payment card is needed to start it, and you can cancel the subscription at any time.
Will these files work on my Glowforge or xTool?
They are SVG files, which every laser workflow reads, and most sets add other formats too — the set cover usually lists them. Cut settings depend on your machine and material, so run a test cut on scrap first.
Can I sell what I make from these files?
Only if the licence on the design’s page allows commercial use of finished items. Many on Creative Fabrica do, and the licence is stated on each product page — read it there before you sell.
