Laser Cut Gifts for Men: Beer Caddies, Openers and Bar Decor
Finding a present for a dad, a husband, a brother or a friend is often the hardest part of the holiday list. Socks and mugs from a shop are easy to buy and easy to forget. A gift you cut yourself is different: it has his name or his favorite joke on it, it fits his hobby, and it ends up somewhere he sees it every day, on the bar, in the garage, at the barbecue or on the game table.
This guide collects laser cut gift ideas for men built around the things many of them enjoy most: a cold beer, good snacks, an evening by the fire and a game with friends. There are wooden caddies for beer bottles and snacks, picnic holders for the garden table, bottle openers of every kind, a bar sign, boxes for wine corks and bottle caps, a multilayer beer mug with a whole camping scene inside, and a bundle of castle dice towers for tabletop players.
Every file below is a digital design for a laser cutter. For each one you will find what the download includes, how the finished piece is used and who it suits best. At the end there are ideas for putting several pieces together into one gift, a few practical notes before you cut, and links to the rest of our free laser cut gift ideas.
Beer caddies and carriers
A six pack carrier is the classic beer gift, and it is also one of the most satisfying things to cut: a few flat panels slot together into a sturdy box that carries full bottles. The files in this part range from a pair of caddies for beer and snacks to a Father’s Day carrier with ten different panels.
Wooden Beer and Treats Holders Bundle

This bundle turns the six pack carrier into a pair. One caddy has dividers for bottles, the other is an open box for snacks: pretzels, chips, nuts or a pack of jerky. Both have a tall handle cut into the back panel, so the whole set goes from the fridge to the sofa or to the porch in one trip.
The engravings are what make it a gift. In one version the beer caddy says «Dad’s Beer» inside a big bottle cap with a sprig of wheat, and its partner says «Dad’s Snack» with a bowl of chips and little stars around it. In the other version the pair is «Professional Beer Taster» with two clinking bottles and «Professional Snack Taster» with a sausage on a fork, both under a gentleman’s hat. It is the kind of joke that makes people laugh when the present is unwrapped and then keeps the caddy in use for years.
The bundle includes 10 designs, so you are not limited to one wording. Make «Dad’s» for Father’s Day, a «Professional Taster» pair for a friend’s birthday, or a matching set for a game night or a barbecue. The boxes are assembled with finger joints, which makes them sturdy enough to carry full bottles.
What you get: a zip folder with 10 designs in SVG, DXF, EPS, PDF, JPEG and PNG formats. The maker designed the project for 3 mm material and describes it as an original piece for the home or the office. The photos are for inspiration.
Father’s Day Beer Caddy Bundle

A carrier made to be a Father’s Day present from the first glance. The big letters D-A-D are cut right through the side panel, with little figures of a father and a child inside them, so the green bottles show through the word. The end panels carry the joke: «Dad Needs a Beer» on one caddy, «Cheers! #1 Dad» with two clinking bottles on the other.
The maker describes the design as layered and slotted: the panels lock together into a sturdy 6 pack caddy, and the bundle holds 10 different front and back panels, among them «Super Dad», «#1 Dad» and «I Love Beer». That makes it easy to cut one for a father, another for a grandfather and a third for a brother, each with his own wording. The maker suggests it for Father’s Day, beer gifts, dad birthday presents and custom workshop items.
What you get: 10 front and back panel designs with an interlocking structure, in SVG, DXF, EPS, DWG, AI, PDF and PNG formats. The finished caddy is about 31 cm high, 24 cm long and 16 cm wide, optimized for 3 mm wood such as MDF or plywood.
Beer Holder Laser Cut: Beer Basket

If you want one simple carrier rather than a bundle, this is it. A plain wooden basket with a cut-out handle, and on the side a single round engraving: the word «Beer» in script inside a ring shaped like a bottle cap, with two arrows running around it. Six bottles stand in a row, and the handle is wide enough for a whole hand.
It is a quick project and a good first box for anyone new to finger joints, and the clean side leaves room to add a name or a date. The maker calls it a wooden beer caddy, beer bottle holder and beer basket. Red lines are for cutting and black lines for engraving.
What you get: 1 SVG, 1 EPS, 1 PNG, 1 PDF and 1 DXF file. For LightBurn the maker recommends the DXF version, since SVG sizes can change there.
Beer Holders Bundle: Beer Basket

A different shape of carrier: instead of a closed box, the bottles stand in round holes in a two level frame, and the sides are made of slats shaped like little bottles. In the middle rises a tall panel with a handle, and that panel is where each design gets its own character. In the photos it is a barrel with «Dad’s Beer» and a mug tipping over with «Enjoy drinking all these beers»; the maker’s cover also shows a football with «Keep calm and drink beer».
The open frame shows off the bottles, so it looks good on a bar or in the middle of a garden table. With ten designs in the bundle, there is a version for a dad, a sports fan and a craft beer lover. The maker calls it a wooden beer caddy, beer bottle holder and beer basket.
What you get: 10 SVG, 10 EPS, 10 transparent PNG, 10 PDF and 10 DXF files. For LightBurn the maker recommends the DXF files.
Outdoor Beer Picnic Table Bundle

This bundle is made for the summer table, the barbecue and the camping trip. The photos show four of its ideas: an A frame stand that holds bottles and cans on two levels, an oval caddy with a handle and two trays for nuts on the sides, and two round «beer butlers» where the bottles stand in the middle and the snacks sit in compartments around them. Everything a small party needs is in one piece you carry out with one hand.
The maker lists portable wine and beer baskets, snack serving trays, camping drinks holders, picnic caddies and beer carriers, summer BBQ accessories and outdoor furniture patterns for 6 mm plywood, and suggests the set as a personalized beer butler gift. It is a present for the man who owns the grill, and a good product for anyone who sells at summer fairs.
What you get: 10 SVG, 10 EPS, 10 PNG, 10 PDF and 10 DXF files. Red lines are for cutting and black lines for engraving.
Outdoor Beer Picnic Table: Lawn Stake Designs
Two single designs from the same maker take the idea further from the table: these little stands have a pointed leg that you push into the grass, so the drinks stay upright right next to your chair. No more bottles tipping over on the lawn, and the snacks are at hand. Each one is sold as its own file.
Three Bottle Lawn Table

A six sided top with three round holes for bottles and two triangular trays for nuts or chips, all set on one stake. It holds a round for two or three friends sitting on the lawn, and it looks at home next to an Adirondack chair on a summer evening.
Single Bottle Lawn Table

A round version for one: the bottle stands in the middle and a ring shaped tray around it holds a handful of snacks. It is small and quick to cut, so it is easy to make one for every chair in the garden or around the fire pit.
The maker lists both as portable wine and beer holders, snack serving trays, camping drinks holders and summer BBQ accessories, patterns for 6 mm plywood, and suggests them as a personalized beer butler gift. What you get in each file: 1 SVG, 1 EPS, 1 PNG, 1 PDF and 1 DXF file. Red lines are for cutting and black lines for engraving.
Laser Cut Beer and Wine Box

A bottle is an easy present; a bottle in an engraved wooden box becomes a keepsake. This set gives you a tall box with a lid that slides up, and the front is a blank panel for your message. The photo shows how far one design can go: «To Dad, Happy Birthday», «To Hollie, Happy Birthday, Love Dad», «Merry Christmas» for a couple from their parents, and a wedding version for Mr and Mrs.
The maker includes four sizes. The beer box is 10 cm wide and deep and 30 cm high, a fit for a favorite beer bottle for Dad’s birthday or Father’s Day. Three wine boxes are also 10 cm wide and deep, at 33, 35 and 37 cm high for different bottle heights, for birthdays, weddings, Christmas and teacher presents. Assembly is simple: cut, engrave the message, glue the parts, slip in the bottle.
What you get: AI, EPS, DXF, PDF and SVG files for 3 mm, 3.2 mm (1/8 inch) and 4 mm materials, for natural wood, plywood, MDF and acrylic. The maker names LightBurn, LaserCut and RDWorks and machines such as Glowforge, OMTech, xTool and Thunder Laser.
Bottle openers for the home bar
Nothing says «bar» like a bottle opener, and a laser engraved bottle opener is one of the most requested small gifts. Here there are four ways to make one: two wall openers with a bucket for the caps, a wall board with a drawer for caps, and a set of small round openers with funny beer quotes.
Beer Bottle Opener Laser Cut Bundle

A metal opener screwed to the top of an engraved board, and below it a hook for a small bucket that catches the caps. The shapes change from design to design: a barrel with «Beer is good but… Beers are better» and a row of five bottles, or a tall beer glass with a head of foam and «Save water, drink beer». Either one makes a home bar feel like a real pub.
The bundle holds 10 designs. The maker lists wall mounted bottle openers, funny beer quote engravings, beer bottle and can shapes, bar decor and man cave decor, and suggests them as personalised beer gifts. A name or the date of a birthday fits easily next to the quote.
What you get: 10 SVG, 10 EPS, 10 transparent PNG, 10 PDF and 10 DXF files. For LightBurn the maker recommends the DXF files, since SVG sizes can change there.
Round Beer Bottle Openers

Ten small round openers, each with its own beer quote: «Cold Beer, Good Times», «Beer is always a good idea», «One beer at a time», «Open, bottle, repeat», «Powered by beer», «Time to open and unwind», «Beer: because adulting is hard» and more. One more disc in the photo shows the back with the metal opener set into the wood.
The maker lists them as magnet coasters as well as openers, so the same disc can live on the fridge door and open a bottle when needed. A set of ten makes a ready gift box for a group of friends, groomsmen or a whole team, with a different quote for each person.
What you get: 10 SVG, 10 EPS, 10 PNG, 10 PDF and 10 DXF files. Red lines are for cutting and black lines for engraving.
Wall Mounted Beer Openers Bundle

Another bundle of wall openers with a bucket for the caps, this time with a playful retro mood. «Beat the heat» comes with a pin up girl raising a glass, «Start your engine» is cut in the shape of a beer glass for the man who spends his weekends in the garage, and «Cold brew, cool crew» puts two cheerful beer mugs on a barrel. Each board has a place for a metal opener at the top and a hook for the bucket below.
With ten designs in one download you can match the opener to the man: a car lover, a vintage fan, or the host who always has friends over. Hung side by side, two or three of them turn a bare wall into a bar.
What you get: a zip folder with 10 designs in SVG, DXF, EPS, PDF, JPEG and PNG formats. The maker designed the project for 3 mm material and describes it as an original piece for the home or the office. The photos are for inspiration.
Beer Bottle Opener Bundle with a Cap Box

Here the bucket is replaced by a wooden box. Each board has a metal opener at the top, an engraved picture in the middle and a small drawer below, so the caps fall straight into the box, and the box itself is engraved with caps. The three designs in the photos read «Repeat, Open, Drink» in a circle of arrows, «Beer makes everything better» next to a bottle, and «It’s always beer season» under a mug and a tear off calendar.
A box full of colorful caps becomes a little collection on its own, and many beer fans like to keep them. The maker lists the set as home bar and wall décor, a bar tool, a kitchen accessory, a gift idea and a beer lid box.
What you get: 10 SVG, 10 EPS, 10 PNG, 10 PDF and 10 DXF files. Red lines are for cutting and black lines for engraving; for LightBurn the maker recommends the DXF files.
Ice Cold Beer Sign

Every home bar needs a sign, and this one points the way. A tall board with «Ice Cold» at the top and BEER in big stencil letters running down, ending in an arrow with «Served Here». Hung next to the drinks fridge, on the garage wall or above the patio cooler, it tells every guest where to go.
The maker describes the design as a cut file and a printable made to feel like an ice cold drink on a hot summer day, crafted as one piece. It suits the same man who gets the bottle opener: one on the wall, the other right under it.
What you get: one SVG, JPEG, EPS, PNG, AI and PDF file each, in a zip folder, ready for Adobe Illustrator and laser cutting machines.
Wine Cork and Bottle Cap Boxes
Not every man drinks beer, and these boxes work for wine lovers and beer fans alike. Each one is a wooden frame with a clear window in front and a slot at the top: you drop in a cork or a bottle cap after every good evening, and the box slowly fills up with memories. There are four designs, each sold as its own file.
The maker lists them as a wine cork box, a beer bottle caps box, and a gift for cork collectors and wine lovers. A box with the first cork already inside makes a sweet anniversary or housewarming present, and for a beer fan the same box collects caps. What you get in each file: 1 SVG, 1 EPS, 1 PNG, 1 PDF and 1 DXF file. Red lines are for cutting and black lines for engraving.
Wine Not

The «Wine not» box has a bottle pouring into a glass across its clear front. It is the cheerful answer to «shall we open one more?», and the corks pile up behind the drawing.
Wine Time

«Wine Time» puts a big clock face on the window, as if every evening has its own hour for a glass. It looks good on a kitchen shelf or next to the wine rack.
Wine Therapy

«Wine Therapy» shows a hand reaching for a glass, with a few little stars around it. A funny gift for a friend after a long week, or for a couple who like their Friday bottle.
Every Cork Tells a Story

«Every cork tells a story» is framed with leaves and a wine glass. It is the most sentimental of the four: a box for anniversaries, weddings and first homes, where every cork is a memory.
Multilayer Camping Scene Beer Mug

A beer mug you do not drink from, but look into. The outline is a big mug with a handle and a cap of white foam, and inside the glass there is a whole evening outdoors: a crescent moon and clouds over the mountains, rows of pine trees, a little camper trailer, a tent, two Adirondack chairs and a campfire, with a man resting in front of them.
The depth comes from the layers. Each part of the scene is cut on its own and glued one on top of another, so the mountains sit far back, the trees come forward and the camper and the chairs stand closest to you. Even in plain wood the scene reads clearly, because the shadows between the layers do the work. This is the reason «multilayer laser cut» is such a popular search: a flat sheet of plywood turns into a small diorama.
It is a gift for someone who loves the outdoors as much as a cold drink after a day of hiking: a camper owner, a fisherman, a hunter or anyone who spends summer weekends by the fire. At 10 inches tall it is big enough to hang on the wall of a cabin, a garage or a home bar, or to stand on a shelf next to the trophies.
What you get: a zip file with SVG, DXF, AI, EPS, PDF and DWG files. Blue lines are for engraving and red lines for cutting. The design is 10 inches (25 cm) tall and is made for 3 mm wood.
Dice Tower Laser Cut Bundle: Castle Set

Not every man’s evening is about beer. For the tabletop gamer, the Dungeons and Dragons player or the one who runs the game as Dungeon Master, a dice tower is the gift that ends up on the table every week. You drop the dice in at the top, they tumble down inside the tower and roll out through the gate into a tray, so every roll is fair and no dice fly off the table.
This bundle has three castles. The first is a tall tower with a tiled pointed roof and a sun engraved over the exit. The second is a stone keep with battlements, arched windows and a portcullis gate that opens onto a long tray. The third is a twin tower fortress joined by a wall, with a drawbridge in front. All three are covered in engraved stonework and details, so they look like props from the game world rather than accessories.
The maker describes the set as tabletop gaming castles and fortresses, a plywood dice roller, a keepsake organizer, Dungeon Master dice rolling trays and interlocking 3D dice boxes, and calls it a creative geek gift and gaming room decor. It is a strong present for a birthday or Christmas, and a group of players can share the three towers between them.
What you get: 3 SVG, 3 EPS, 3 PNG, 3 PDF and 3 DXF files. Red lines are for cutting and black lines for engraving. More dice and games to cut are in our laser cut toys and games.
One more for the garage wall
If the man in question spends more time with tools than with dice, have a look at the Dad’s Garage sign in our gift guide: an engraved plaque between two crossed wrenches with «24 Hour Service» in the small print and versions for Dad, Grandad and the man cave. It hangs perfectly above a workbench next to a wall bottle opener and the Ice Cold Beer sign.
How to put together a laser cut gift for him
These files work well alone, but a small set says more than one piece. A few combinations:
For a game night. The beer caddy and the snack caddy with the «Professional Taster» engraving, plus a dice tower. Everything for a Friday evening with friends comes in one gift, and the caddies carry drinks and snacks straight to the table.
For the home bar. The Ice Cold Beer sign, a wall opener with a cap box or a bucket right under it, and a few round openers as magnets on the fridge. Add a name to the wall piece, and the bar gets its own sign.
For the barbecue. A picnic beer butler from the outdoor bundle with nuts in the side trays, and a «Beer» holder for the extra bottles.
For the outdoorsman. The camping beer mug for the wall of the cabin or the camper, and a «Dad’s Beer» caddy for the next trip to the lake.
For Father’s Day. The DAD caddy with «Dad Needs a Beer», an engraved beer box with «To Dad, Happy Birthday» for his favorite bottle, and the Dad’s Garage sign from our gift guide.
For a wine lover. A cork box with the first cork of a special evening already inside, and a wine box engraved with the date.
For a group gift. Ten round openers with ten different quotes make a set for groomsmen, a sports team or the whole office, one for each person.
A few practical notes before you cut
Check the material. Most of the caddies, the openers and the camping mug are designed for 3 mm material, the beer and wine boxes also come for 3.2 mm and 4 mm, and the outdoor picnic bundle is named for 6 mm plywood. Measure your sheet before cutting: plywood that is thicker or thinner than stated will make the joints too tight or too loose.
Read the colors of the lines. In most of these files red lines are cuts and black lines are engravings; in the camping mug blue lines are engravings and red lines are cuts. Set the layers in your software first, so the quotes and pictures are engraved and not cut out.
Use DXF in LightBurn. Several makers warn that LightBurn can change the size of SVG files, which matters for parts that must fit a metal opener insert or slot together.
Cut a test piece. On the caddies, the boxes and the dice towers, cut one joint or one wall first, check the fit, then cut the rest.
Plan the hardware. The openers need a metal opener insert and screws, the round ones can take a magnet, and the wall openers in the photos use a small bucket and a hook for the caps. The cork boxes have a clear front panel that you can cut from thin acrylic.
