Wedding SVG Laser Cut Files: 12 Free Designs for Cards, Rings and Guests

A wedding runs on small handmade things that all have to match: something for the cards, something for the rings, something for guests to sign, something to welcome them with at the door. Cut the lot from a couple of sheets of plywood and they come from one wood tone and one style, instead of three different shops.

Below are twelve free wedding laser cut SVG files, sorted by what they hold: cards and money, a guest’s signature, the whole tabletop in one file, a keepsake, and the couple themselves. For each one, what the maker states and what the photograph shows.

Where the cards and money go

Three card boxes, one for every style

A laser cut wedding card box is a 30 by 25cm cube on tab joints, hinged at the lid, with hearts and scrollwork cut all the way through every wall so a card inside is only ever half-hidden. The listing shows an envelope reading “To The Happy Couple” sitting inside, visible through the cutwork. Cut it from wood or acrylic at 3, 3.2 or 4mm — the maker lists it as tested in LightBurn, LaserCut, RDWorks, Glowforge, OMTech, xTool and Thunder Laser.

A second box wraps the same idea in a quatrefoil lattice instead: a square card box with a leather cord and a small heart-shaped padlock charm hanging off the lid, and an engraved plaque with the couple’s names and date banded across the middle in white ribbon. Ten designs in the archive — red line for the cut, black for engraving — with envelopes already peeking out the top slot in the listing photo.

And a five-box set skips the single shape altogether: an oval, a rounded square, a hexagon, a leaf-wreath square and a domed arch, each with its own cutwork pattern and its own engraved couple’s name and date. Finished size about 12 by 11 by 6 inches, 3mm wood, MDF or acrylic. Useful past the wedding too — the set doubles as keepsake boxes for anniversaries or engagements.

A postbox and a camper, for something different

A postbox-shaped card box takes the shape of an old-fashioned pillar box: two arched panels side by side, each with its own slot, standing 39cm tall on a 20 by 20cm base. Choose the plaque wording — Wedding, Post Box, Birthday or your own initials — and there is a square window on the front for a photo. 3, 3.2 or 4mm wood, acrylic, plywood or MDF.

For a single bill rather than a stack of cards, a camper-shaped money holder takes the note through a heart-shaped door in its side. It comes as four layout variants — a ribbon banner reading “Just Married” or an engraved version with bunting flags, each with a window for the couple’s surname — about 15.7 by 11.5cm. Plywood, MDF, HDF, wood or acrylic. One thing to know: no names or letters are drawn into the file, you add your own, and the line colours here are this maker’s own — blue for engraving, yellow for score lines, black for cuts, red for information only.

Two signs for an easel

A giant monogram letter turns the guest book into something guests write straight on: the bundle draws ten different letters and table signs, each one large enough to stand on an easel with a name-and-date plaque engraved across the middle — the sample shown is an “A” for a couple signing as “Lily & Finn, July 25, 2026” — and guests fill the space around it with a pen instead of a page.

A floral welcome sign bundle pairs a round arched sign with a wooden plaque underneath, cut with an actual pocket sized for a handful of fresh flowers and greenery rather than a printed bouquet — the listing photograph shows it propped on an easel with roses filling the pocket and the couple’s names and date engraved across the plaque. Ten designs in the archive, red line for the cut and black for engraving, wood or acrylic; pull the DXF instead of the SVG if you are on LightBurn.

Two ways to fill the guest book

A heart-shaped drop-box frame turns the guest book into something you watch fill up: it stands on its own small easel, and guests write on a loose wooden heart and drop it in through the top, where it joins the others piling up behind the front. A separate finger-jointed keepsake box sits on the table beside it in the listing photo, sized to hold the hearts once the frame is full.

Instead of passing round a book, a round guest book panel gives every guest a wooden leaf. The crown of the tree is built entirely from heart-shaped cutouts; some come pre-engraved with a line like “Love & joy” or “Forever & always”, the rest stay blank for a guest to fill in and slot into place. At the base, a couple’s silhouette sits under a name-and-date plaque — the listing photograph shows “Julian & Emma” and “12/07/2024” — with a few spare hearts left on the table for the ones that do not fit.

Two boxes shaped like a heart

A heart-shaped ring box is built as two stacked hearts: the lower one is a shallow tray with two round wells, each holding its own small heart-shaped ring cushion, and the lid above it carries the engraving — the sample reads “Adam & Sara”, a date and two interlocked rings, all inside a wreath of small flowers and leaves.

A plainer heart-shaped keepsake box works for whatever comes after the rings: the lid shown here has a lace border cut all the way through and a small raised heart reading “Heart Box” at the centre, on the second lid the maker includes left smooth for your own engraving. 19.5cm wide, 18.5cm tall, 6cm deep, 3, 3.2 or 4mm wood, plywood, MDF or acrylic.

One file for the whole table

If you would rather not mix and match, a big wedding laser cut set cuts the whole table from one file: the tree-of-hearts guest book, a welcome sign, a card box, a small decorative gift box, and a matching set of coasters or table numbers, all in the same pattern so nothing looks bought separately. The listing photograph shows all five pieces together on one table.

Every piece is drawn for 3mm plywood, MDF, acrylic or plexiglass, in AI, SVG, DXF, DWG, CDR, EPS and PDF — and it is the best-reviewed file on this page: 5.0 stars over 8 reviews, 638 saves.

A silhouette for the sweetheart table

And for something that needs no box at all, a standing bride-and-groom silhouette is one flat piece: a couple holding hands, the groom left plain and the bride’s dress cut through with scrollwork and leaves.

Five different silhouettes come in the file, ready for Cricut, Silhouette, Glowforge, xTool or a CNC router, in wood, acrylic, MDF or card.

Before you cut a name into it

Every file on this page that carries a name or a date is drawn without one — you add your own letters and refit them to the space, the same way as any personalised piece. Test the actual names before the wedding week, not the week of it: a long surname behaves differently to a short one, and a re-cut two days out is not a good use of anyone’s evening.

Thickness is the other thing worth checking twice. Most of the boxes here are drawn for 3, 3.2 or 4mm stock; measure your own sheet with calipers rather than trusting the label, and if you use LightBurn, three of the makers above specifically warn that their SVG import can distort sizing — pull the DXF instead.
